THE EYE OF JEALOUSY

We all know of the good eye

The eye of the needle

We also know of the furious eye

That is the hurricanes’ inner circle;

But have you heard of that eye

Which pierces you like a needle?

The needle of the evil eye

Is jealousy in the form of a sty;

Which pierces happiness for free

and jinxes its possibility.

So desist from using the needle

That needle of jealousy

That harms even a babe in a cradle

With a mere look; you see.

For it’s the way you look

The way you see; you see

Which matters more to me

and causes more harm than can be

THE MIDDLE PATH

It is much easier 

to tread the middle path

but the more harder

to tread the difficult path

and experience both extremes

and stay completely cool at both ends

Then all paths become middle

And all middles have bends

And circles become a riddle

As they straight do run like a river

And separate to form two ends

And then from one to another

There lies the middle of all trends

PROGRAMMED DEPENDENCE

He wanted to

take charge of his life

And the life

of everyone around him

He never realized

that he was not in charge

Until life suddenly left him.

Independence in dependence

Or dependence in Independence

Grow up little boy; Grow up

It is all a plan, just a plan;

to mislead you

Move up not move on;

just move up

Until life’s puzzle stands

revealed around you

We really long

for holistic independence

Until we realise it is

mere programmed dependence

NO TOMORROWS

There are no tomorrows

Never was and never will be

There are only todays

And they will always be.

For everything about tomorrows

Are products of the mind

The same goes for yesterday’s arrows

For you will never again them find.

Live in the now; live for the day

And you will happy be

Don’t let them waste away

For you then will never be free

There’s no tomorrows

Never was and never will be

There are only loosers

Who plan for them to be

As long as you do good today

You don’t have to worry of tomorrow

Goodness is here to stay

The future you need not borrow

OUR TEACHER

God is more than a Father

God is more than a Mother.

God is a primeval Teacher.

Teaching us from within, forever

And guiding us to do the right things

Though we never learn ever

For we are just another dumb student

And fail to understand never ever

We don’t know what is prudent

And fail to follow the fact

That God is more than a Mother or Father

But one who as a Teacher does act

To help us learn and live forever

The Truth that life is our power

LIFE WITHIN

There are worlds within

And  galaxies galore.

The stars twinkle within

 And the planets do more.

 Master yourself within,

witness the Godhead

 Then you will never sin

and forever not be dead.

There are Gods within

And powers galore

Your breath shines within

And your thoughts do more

Master these Masters within

Witness the God of all Gods

Then you will forever be in

And avoid all these frauds

There is a Teacher within

And lessons galore

Classes are twenty four by seven

And tests are for sure

Bow to the Teacher within

And gain wisdom of the Gods

Then you will find heaven within

And live the life of the Gods

JUST PRETENDING

The older I grow

The more I am sure

That no one knows anything

And we are all pretending

To be know it alls

Until our head falls

Pretending to live

Pretending to love

Pretending to care

Pretending to share

Pretending to know

Pretending to allow

Pretending; pretending

Without really ever intending

To allow us to be

What we are and should be

A DIFFERENT LAW OF NATURE

I’m just an apple that fell

and rolled far away from the tree

Does that ring a bell?

It’s a pity Newton didn’t see me

He would have then deciphered so easily

Some other law of nature for free

Maybe, he may have discovered

The law of exceptions to laws

Which would be propounded

For guys like me with flaws

There’s nothing wrong in being different

Nothing wrong with us at all

As long as to nature we are not indifferent

We shall continue to stand tall

HUMAN WARMTH

How very often

do we underestimate

Human warmth

Which doth soften

The cold reality

Of the world so sodden;

Rid of all humanity.

Seated in corruption,

Egocentricity

And selfishness unlimited

Which together rules the roost

Oh! For a little bit of

Genuine human warmth!

A PLEA TO THE DIVINE TEACHER

Oh Divine Teacher

Who does hold me upright;

As I do learn from you, my Master

And learn what is correct and right;

To live with and to love

The Divine Mother

As well as the Divine Father;

Not just once in a while

But all the days of my life.

Oh Divine Teacher

Lead me on forever

Without strife…

THE GOD PEDDLERS

He came to drive out

A bunch of thieves

And from God’s courtyard rout

These conniving thieves

But after the bout

With these stupid thieves

he quietly leaves

while they continue to peddle

without any grief or remorse;

Him, do they now continue to peddle
