BLACK AND WHITE

Black is black

And white is white

And they have never

together blended right

for they can never

be mixed to form

that particular shade

which is called grey.

But it was man

who mixed them together

To rationalise and justify

his own selfish behavior

and therefore  insisted

that shades of grey

has forever existed

as he wanted it to exist

and therefore

deemed it fit

THE CANDLE

The candle

will soon

be burnt out

but there’s

no need

to moon

the wax

will be

recycled

and another

candle

born soon

THE PARTY’S NEVER OVER

The party’s never over

The party is my life

Just as I am the life

of the party forever.

The party is forever

so sit back and enjoy life;

even when it’s over.

So when it’s time

to leave the party

and you don’t want to do so;

don’t you cry, baby

for you have another place to go.

A place so cool and calm

where you can party on and on

so remember my baby;

when its time to leave the party

you don’t have to cry..

for the party will continue

wherever you may go

I've reached the last stages of partying and while fellow revelers may seem upset, I can only tell them that "The Party's Never Over"

THORNY THOUGHTS

When we

are pricked

by a thorn

We are

prone to say

a thorn

pricked us

But not many

of us

say we

stepped on

the thorn

For we

tend to

blame

the thorn

more

than

ourselves

for

pricking us

rather than

being pricked

WE ARE ALL CONNECTED

We are all at all levels connected

For if we weren't so united

we wouldn't in this world be tested;

yes, we are souls that knew each other

from the beginning of  time till eternity;

we played, danced  and sang in unity

or fought, shot and killed in vanity;

but yet we are all so connected

for otherwise we wouldn't be related

and in this world serve time: together arrested

thus forced to interact and thereby  tested

Yes, we are all certainly connected

And will all be always together

And happily remain together undefeated

THE HIDDEN TRUTH

Truth is hidden

Hidden in nothing

nothing but the nothingness of the mind

mind is nothing when shed of thoughts

thoughts that vanish into bliss

bliss that ensures nothing is amiss

amiss is the mind full of thoughts

thoughts mask and hide the truth

truth is subtly hidden

hidden subtly in nothing

nothing but an empty mind

mind which you then can't find
