God for anything
for I asked him to help me
avoid crowds
and prayed for peaceful
driving
on my city's roads.
I prayed that he reduce
pollution
and mankind to lead simple
lives
without any confusion.
My prayers God answered
Soon my fellow men suffered
at the hands of a deadly
virus
and their wails arose
everywhere in chorus.
Now the roads are empty
and there are no crowds
anywhere
There is no pollution
nor resultant suffocation
but I'm unable to go out
and in my room I stay put.
Yes, I've stopped asking God
to answer my prayers
and now pray that his will be
done
always and forever...
