ASKING GOD IN PRAYER

 I've stopped asking

God for anything

for I asked him to help me

avoid crowds

and prayed for peaceful driving

on my city's roads.

I prayed that he reduce pollution

and mankind to lead simple lives

without any confusion.

My prayers God answered

Soon my fellow men suffered

at the hands of a deadly virus

and their wails arose              

everywhere in chorus.

Now the roads are empty

and there are no crowds anywhere

There is no pollution

nor resultant suffocation

but I'm unable to go out

and in my room I stay put.

Yes, I've stopped asking God

to answer my prayers

and now pray that his will be done

always and forever...

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Soon deserts will turn into green jungles

While jungles and cities will turn into deserts

ice caps will melt as mankind fumbles

and to the primeval the universe reverts

But from this man will never learn anything

He believes nature has betrayed him

His egoistic greed is the cause of everything

but he feels great injustice was done towards him

Man Oh Man! Oh stupid and foolish Man

Open your eyes and try to understand and learn

To your logic and rationality you must enforce a ban

Science, engineering and technology you must spurn

burn all superstition and put its ashes in an urn

and towards the Truth you must inward turn

Oh! The logic and Science within is so much fun

yes, true logic and Science is within the loved one...

JUST ANOTHER TRAVELLER

I’m just another traveller

who travels deep within

Just another wanderer

wandering on paths within

I’m just another seeker

seeking to rid me of sin

Just another soldier

fighting wars within

In silence may I be here

and rend the veil so thin

That in Glory I dwell forever

in Truth and peace thus livin’

So come join me in my travels

come witness the world within

and as the illusion unravels

rejoice in the Godhead within

ALL IN THE MIND

It’s the mind which makes each one think

they are better than the other;

It’s the mind that makes each one think

they know more than the other

It’s the mind which makes each one think

they are stronger than the other

It’s the mind which makes each one think

they are more beautiful than the other

It’s the mind which makes each one think

they are worse than the other

It’s the mind which makes each one think

they know less than the other

It’s the mind which makes each one think

they are weaker than the other

It’s the mind which makes each one think

they are uglier than the other

It’s the mind which makes each one think

what they think about the other

It’s the mind which makes each one think

giving us the illusion of the other

It’s the mind which makes each one think

thus hiding the truth we can never discover

It’s the mind which makes each one think

thus deluding us into straying away from the Master

It’s the mind which makes each one think

for thinking is the cause of all the bother

The mind is what differentiates us all

built on our breath until we die and fall

Without the mind we are all one

and then our ego and our illusions are all gone

HIDE THYSELF FROM FAME

Hide thyself and thy qualities;

don’t fall into the limelight

of the wicked and their evil eyes

who only seek to destroy you

in the name of glory and fame.

Hide in the remotest corners

of this vast earth

where there is no shame;

seek not fame

or you will have to bear the blame

for success is but an illusion

which the wise avoid.

They know they will fall into the void

where there is no peace

nor happiness except the shame

of success so illusory and lame

STAR GAZING

When we gaze

at the stars shining bright

on a cloudless,

moonless night

we sure do feel

a sense of timelessness

then do we exist

in all the three tenses

We then do subsist

at that given moment

in the past present

and future are we transported

you watch the light

that originated in the past

though it travels bright

over considerable distance very fast

and reaches you now

in the world of the present

touching your soul

which in the future will be present

ON ENLIGHTENMENT

Sadness, sorrow,

lies, deceit,

hope for the morrow,

madness, deep shit,

trials, tribulations,

poverty and riches,

anxiety, patience

vanity and vain wishes,

joys, triumphs,

sex, perversions

blow jobs and humps

religion and other diversions

just do it all

for its total experience

even if it means you fail and fall

in name and appearance.

For these and more are all strewn

on the path to fulfillment

that have been hewn

for your own enlightenment
